Tech Theatre Database? Send me your techies.

Along with other exciting changes here at ACoT ( to be discussed at a later date) we are developing a database for all of your fabulous techie folks out there. Just about every week or so, we get a call for a costume designer, or a set designer. “Where can so and so get headshots in lighting speed? Who is a makeup artist that specializes in special effects?” And on and on. I want to send people to you to give you work! But first I need to know who you are!

So all you techies and techie friends, please send me a list with emails ( or phone numbers) of:

Lighting Designers

Set Designers

Costume Designers

Marketing/Design Firms

Prop folks

Stage Managers

Makeup Artists

Sound Designer

Headshot photographers

Technical Directors

Board Operators

Crew Members

Mulitmedia folks

Dressers

Hairstylists

Dialect Coaches

Whew! Yes, it does take a village to make a play happen.

Also, if you know if they only do small scale or big scale projects, or would work with a low budget company, please put that as well.

Stay tuned for an exciting bio of yet another ACoT Staff member, here int he next dayor so. I know the wait is hard, but it will be worth it.

And! You miiiight just want to check this blog to find out a listing of the BIP nominees here in the next day or so.

Just saying.
