Random Facts About Anne-Marie!

She has two cats – Rubix Muffin Cubes and Winston Churchill – They already picked out their Halloween costumes – Rubi is going to be an Angel (which is rather ironic) and Winston is going to be a Court Jester (he hopes that people will laugh with him rather than at him) In 6th grade she moved to her family’s farm out in Cedar Creek, TX and had to sometimes do homework by oil lantern for a month before they had electricity poles installed on the property (Not such a big fan of camping these days – maybe this had something to do with it?)

Was born in Key West, FL but has lived all but 11 months in and around Austin, but this does not make her any less of a Conch. She has a fear of Opossums because she was once nearly eaten by one

Anne-Marie is the Membership Services Director at Austin Circle of Theaters. She has been a part of the ACoT family since October of 2007, when she began working here as an intern during her final semester at the University of Texas. She is currently working to coordinate Free Night of Theatre 2009 and supporting the rest of the ACoT staff in coordinating the Get Your Art On as well as the B. Iden Payne Awards (she is the one sending out the Ballot Codes so if you’re a member keep an eye on your inbox for an email from membership@acotonline.org. )

Anne-Marie also manages the Annual Auditions and provides assistance with City Funding Applications for ACoT Sponsored Projects. And she also sends out your membership cards too. Recently, Austin Circle of Theatres was awarded a grant from the Mid-America Arts Alliance that will allow her to work full time at the ACoT offices to better serve our members. Anne-Marie will complete her work as Campaign Manager with Syzygy Marketing, a business that provides telephone campaign services for several performing arts groups in Austin.
