Doing More to Better Serve You

Author of “The Rise of the Creative Class,” and “Who’s Your City?” Richard Florida, was in town last Friday, and our Membership Services Director Anne-Marie McKaskle and our Director of Ticketing Services Jessica Thompson went to listen to him speak and to learn what more that we can do for the more than 250,000 people in the Austin Creative Sector.

And while that was going on here, our Executive Director, Latifah Taormina, and your fearless Social Media Director, Mitchell Mazurek, were heading to San Jose for the National Arts Marketing Project Conference where they met with others of the Artsopolis network to discuss the next steps in bettering, your events portal in Austin, emerging technologies and revolutions in media, and how to better reach and serve our community.

It was a busy weekend for all of us over at the Austin Creative Alliance, doing more to keep Austin amazing and to make sure we’re able to do all we can for all of you.
